FFA is one of key initiatives aimed at i) addressing the most vulnerable people’s immediate food needs with cash, voucher or food transfers when they need them and ii) improving people and communities’ long-term food security and resilience.
The concept is simple: people receive cash or food-based transfers to address their immediate food needs, while they build or boost assets, such as repairing irrigation systems, bridges, land and water management activities, that will improve their livelihoods by creating healthier natural environments, reducing risks and impact of climate shocks, increasing food productivity, and strengthening resilience to natural disasters over time.
This tool is used for registering daily attendance of beneficiaries participating in the above programmes.
